About Lorenzo

Like a Swiss Army knife, Lorenzo aims to synthesise his vast experiences and expertise in multiple facets of music into an all-encompassing career. With 15 years of guitar playing experience and being well-versed in various styles, Lorenzo approaches performing, songwriting, production and teaching with confidence.

 

Having collaborated with artists such as the indie rock band Coming Up Roses and the experimental hip-hop artist Ailes, Lorenzo has amassed a prolific recording career, being featured in 3 EPs and 2 singles garnering over 230,000 streams on Spotify. With roots in the original music scene, he is no stranger to Singapore’s performance venues and has made his mark on stages such as the Esplanade, *Scape Theatre and numerous festivals. He has also made tours of Indonesia, Taiwan and Canada. He has also participated in cross-disciplinary collaborations with local animators in the composition of scores for short films.

 

Lorenzo is also a passionate educator, providing guitar instruction for 3 years. He approaches teaching with the goal of instilling music appreciation in his students regardless of age or level.

 

Lorenzo believes in lifelong learning and is constantly working on improving himself as an artist in pursuit of honest artistic expression. Thereafter, he hopes to bring Singaporean music to the forefront of the international stage.
